I had the pleasure of checking in on (and feeding) @robinsheldonillustration & @nichilisisajerk‘s cat, Knives, this weekend.
I’m unsure if she remembered me from when I last saw her, but she was nice to me this weekend. She even let me pet her, so that’s a good thing.

Awesome Inc. asked me to draw some silly things for their social media page. It was fun. I accidently drew myself, because my idea of a dude who likes burgers is apparently myself.
I haven’t updated in awhile because freelance. But here is a thing I was messing around with before I got too busy. I was going to animate this dude, but then realized I don’t know anything about animating and the timing is effed on the rough so I’m not going to do anything more with it.
Its also the anniversary of Macho Man’s death, and the flying elbow drop was his finisher.

Call for submissions!
Do you love Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, in all their incarnations of comics, cartoons, movies, and games? Then join in on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles zine!
Nick Peters and I were ruminating on the upcoming TMNT film (for which Nick is pretty optimistic about and I adamantly refuse to enjoy), and we decided it would be a blast if we put together a zine celebrating our love for all things Turtles. Do you love the 80s cartoon? The 90s films? The Archie or original 80s comics? The new cartoons? Even the big budget films? Submit to our Turtle zine, and lets see lots of cool TMNT art!
For starters, this zine will be purely available online, as we really want to encourage color and don’t want to at the same time manage the high printing costs. We’re not doing this for profit, but because we love TMNT and want to share art with other TMNT fans. A labor of love, if you will.
Each artist can submit 1-3 pieces, within a 10x10 format. We encourage all artists to explore all the different characters within the TMNT fandom, within which there are soooo many! Usagi, Luchador Leatherhead, Casey Jones, Ace Duck, Venus De Milo, Tokka and Razar; there’s an endless list of awesome TMNT characters spanning many universes. If you want to focus on the four main turtles, that’s cool too, but if you have the inclination, show some love to the other guys! These need not be character spotlights either, do as you like, as long as its TMNT.
And just to be clear, please do not submit NC-17 or NSFW stuff. If you’re unsure, email us and ask for clarification, or run your idea by us.
We’ll close sign-ups on April 25th, and the deadline to submit work is July 1st. Please email your intent to submit to tmntzine2016@gmail.com before April 25th. We’d appreciate if you tell us what characters you’re thinking of doing and how many pieces you’d like to contribute. These don’t need to be set in stone, we’d just like to get an idea of what kind of variety we can expect. Feel free to toss around some ideas on this post for funsies.
